Base Mount for the Blaser R8

This Nieload base mount is engineered specifically for the Blaser R8 lockstock, fitting directly to the saddle of the R8 action to give a secure, repeatable foundation for ring or rail-based optic mounting. It's machined from A7075 aircraft-grade aluminium with a 50 μm surface finish, making it lightweight while offering strong resistance to scratching and wear in the field.

Because the mount is matched precisely to the R8's saddle contour, it seats correctly every time and holds zero through repeated barrel changes — removing the need to reset or re-zero your optic when swapping barrels, a key benefit of the Blaser take-down system. Rings are sold separately and available in 25mm, 30mm, 34mm, 36mm, 40mm configurations, so you can build a mount and ring set-up to suit your optic of choice.
