4.2 Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase goods in accordance with these Terms.
4.3 We will send you an order acknowledgement by email when we receive your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.

6.1 We deliver to mainland UK addresses. Delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and islands may be subject to additional charges and extended timescales, which will be confirmed at checkout.
6.2 Estimated delivery timescales will be displayed at checkout. These are estimates only and not guaranteed. We accept no liability for delays outside our reasonable control.

6.4 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. If you are not available to receive your delivery, our courier may leave it in a safe place or leave a card with redelivery instructions.
6.5 We would appreciate it if you would inspect your order promptly upon receipt and notify us of any damage, shortages, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery by contacting sales@unity-distribution.com. This helps us resolve any issues quickly and does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
7.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods (the "cooling-off period").
7.2 To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly within the 14-day period by:
- Email: sales@unity-distribution.com
- Telephone: 01785 332 981
7.3 Following notification of cancellation, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.
7.4 You are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us unless the goods are faulty or we have supplied incorrect goods.
7.5 The right to cancel does not apply to goods that have been sealed for hygiene or health protection purposes and have been unsealed after delivery, or to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.
8. Refunds
8.1 Where you have validly cancelled your order within the cooling-off period, we will refund you the full price paid for the goods, including the original standard delivery charge (if applicable). We are not required to refund any premium delivery costs above the standard rate.
8.2 We will issue your refund no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or 14 days after you provide evidence of return, whichever is earlier.
8.3 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.
8.4 We reserve the right to reduce your refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning (i.e. more than you would be permitted to do in a shop).
9. Returns (Outside the Cooling-Off Period)
9.1 If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in addition to your cancellation rights described above.
9.2 Within 30 days of delivery, you have the short-term right to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.
9.3 After 30 days, we may offer a repair or replacement in the first instance. If a repair or replacement is not possible or is unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.
9.4 To initiate a return outside the cooling-off period, please contact us at sales@unity-distribution.com with your order details and a description of the issue.

11. Warranties and Product Guarantees
11.1 All products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Details of manufacturer warranties will be included with the product or available on request.
11.2 Manufacturer warranties are in addition to, and do not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.
11.3 Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, neglect, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear.
12. Our Liability to You
12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, or wasted expenditure.
12.3 Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for the goods in that order, except where higher liability is required by law.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
13.1 We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
13.2 Full details of how we collect, use, and protect your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on the Website.

16. Events Outside Our Control
16.1 We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where that delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, industrial action, supply chain disruption, or failure of third-party logistics providers. In such circumstances, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable and work to minimise any disruption.
17. Dispute Resolution
17.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at sales@unity-distribution.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
17.2 While we are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, if a dispute cannot be resolved you may seek free, impartial guidance from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or at www.citizensadvice.org.uk.
18. General
18.1 If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18.2 If we fail to enforce any provision of these Terms, this does not mean we have waived our right to enforce it later.
18.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your purchase and supersede any prior representations or agreements.
19. Governing Law
